How does Low Fare Don't Care work?
It's simple! You tell us where you're from and where you want to go (like a bucket list). We search for flights all day long, and send you an alert as soon as your criteria are matched. That's it!
Can you give me an example?
Sure! Let's say, for example, you live in California and you want to go to Brussels, but not Bangkok.
- Under departures you select "California" as your Primary departure.
- Under Destinations, you would select "Europe", but would leave "Asia" unmarked.
When we find a cheap flight from any California airport to Brussels, you'll receive an email immediately! If we find a cheap flight from California to Bangkok (or Tokyo, New Delhi, etc.) you won't receive anything.
Where do I sign up?
You can sign up by entering your email on our home page, and then select either a 7 day trial (no credit card required) or a 30 day trial (membership required).
How many emails will I be getting?
It depends largely on which Departure states and Destinations you're signed up to receive alerts for. Some receive more deals just because of sheer volume. Generally, we send around 2-3 deals per day, compiled into a single alert. We never send an arbitrary "deal of the day" though. We're picky so that everything you get from us is exceptional.
Are you going to spam me? Be honest.
We totally understand the concern, but spam is the WORST. A lot of services offer "cheap flight alerts", and email you any time the price drops by $5. That's because the airlines pay them a commission when you book that ticket. We don’t take ANY commission, so the only thing we care about is finding you the best prices!
Why is Low Fare Don't Care better than other deal sites?
We're pretty competitive, so we go the extra mile to find the absolute best prices for flights you'll love. We also don’t receive any commission from the airlines if you book a flight. We want you to LOVE your membership with us so we always put your interests first, even if that means not taking a commission.
Will there be deals from airports near me?
Oh, the deals will come. Just you watch. :) Since we can’t control when or where the deals will be, we recommend signing up for multiple destinations and two departure states. Sometimes the best deals require a drive (or a short flight) for you to use them, but the savings are usually worth it.
Which countries do the deals originate from?
We currently send deals from the USA, but we are adding more soon.
I need a specific flight, can you help me?
We wish, but sadly we can't. It is so fun to watch people's minds get blown by this process, but we simply don't have time or resources to act as a travel agency. We get tons of requests for this, but the best way for us to serve the most customers is by finding incredible deals, and sending alerts.
Are these all last-minute deals?
No way! In fact, almost none of them are. Timing varies, but most of the flights we send are about 6 months down the road.
Is my credit card info secure?
Yes. This site is encrypted using a 256-bit secure connection and all payments are processed through Stripe, the same payment processor used by Facebook, BestBuy, NPR, and over 100,000+ other online businesses.
I signed up. Why am I not receiving emails?
Sometimes our emails can end up in the spam folder, or in Gmail’s “Promotions” tab if you use Gmail.
Here are some instructions for many common email clients to keep our emails out of the spam folder.

Do you send out first class fares, or is it always economy?
Occasionally we find a great business/first class fare and send it out, but it doesn't happen much. Almost all of the alerts we send out are for economy flights.
Do you ever send alerts for domestic flights?
Nearly everything we send out is for international flights, since those are the most expensive, and have the highest potential for savings. However, we do occasionally send out domestic flights. Usually these are great fares to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories.
Should I trust smaller booking sites?
I can't make that call for you, unfortunately. I would always recommend contacting them BEFORE you book your ticket. Learn what you can about their customer service and return policies, and don't pull the trigger if you feel uneasy about it. Horror stories are rare, but they definitely exist.
Can I see a comprehensive list of past deals?
We're working on compiling a database of these, but until then I try to feature at least one of "yesterdays deals" on the LFDC Instagram (@lowfaredontcare). That should be enough to give you a sense of the pricing we find.
Will the airlines honor these fares?
It's extremely rare for them not to, and airlines almost never cancel your ticket. Even in those rare instances, you should receive a full refund and almost always find out within a week of booking.
Will my subscription renew automatically?
Yes it will! You can cancel anytime, but your subscription will auto-renew at whatever *interval you selected (Once a year or every other year). As long as you stay a premium member your price will never change, even if I decide to raise the subscription prices. You’ll also have access to whatever features get released in the future. - *Lifetime membership is a one-time flat fee, and will not renew. All privileges apply.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 30-day money back guarantee. No questions asked. No hoops to jump through. Please be aware that opting out of emails will not cancel your subscription. It will just stop the deals from showing up in your inbox.
Can I set travel dates with LFDC?
We're not able to offer that at this time. However, most of the deals we send out will have a window of available dates. It's very likely that your desired dates will be available if you're looking for something about 3 - 9 months down the road.
Can I get a receipt for my payment?

I tried emailing you but never heard back! What gives?
Yikes! It's very possible, that your email got delivered to our spam folder or - even worse - wasn't delivered at all. You can reach out to us on our Facebook Page (facebook.com/lowfaredontcare) or on Twitter/Instagram (@lowfaredontcare) and we'll get you taken care of!
Can I cancel anytime? How?
Yes you can. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get right on it.
Can I unsubscribe at anytime? How?
Yup! Just click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any alert and enter the email address you use for alerts. Voila.
How do I update my alert settings?
Click "Update Settings" at the bottom of any LFDC email (or visit https://lowfaredontcare.com/settings) and make new selections!
Why am I seeing alerts for Departures and/or Destinations I don't want?
It's usually just a simple mistake on the "Update Settings" page. If you have already updated your settings and still see flights to or from places you don't want, please get in touch so we can fix it!
Why don't you send alerts via SMS or Facebook Messenger?
